Cougar Park is located at Half Moon Bay High School where I use to teach Geometry. The project was funded by the Parent Teacher Organization. Myself, along with staff, friends, and students we volunteered our time to build a 110' planter box featuring a hexagon planter wrapping around the tree. There are eight 6' planter boxes with attached benches. In addition, a planter box in the shape of a coordinate plane was built. In each quadrant of the planter box are picnic tables. One picnic table is ADA compliant. Two cornhole courts were constructed with 3 heavy duty benches along the perimeter for others to enjoy while watching others play cornhole. There's a bench in the corner of the park dedicated to our principal who recently retired. The beautiful handcrafted "Cougar Park" sign was created by Becki Tower. Enjoy the pictures. More photos will be added soon.
